A low-effort cup of iced coffee
Still groggy, you drag yourself out of bed and shuffle into the kitchen. It is morning, probably. A recipe is stuck to the fridge; it reads:
Grab a shaker bottle. Don’t bother looking for the whisk balls; they’re wherever you left them, and a pain to clean anyway.
Add a whatever-feels-right amount of instant coffee, two ice cubes to help agitate, then fill the rest with water. Shake vigorously, serve over ice, and add a splash of whole milk.
Keeps in the fridge pretty well. Could do with a little bit of sugar.
You shrug, clean out yesterday’s shaker bottle, and begin the process.
